Beirut, cosmopolitan crossroads of the Middle East, the effervescent capital of Lebanon is one of the privileged places of architectural projects of Cabinet International Gatserelia Design.

Founded by brothers Gregory and Alexander Gatserelia in 1985 in Toronto, the office moved to Lebanon ten years later to develop pioneering restaurants, residential projects and hotel establishments.

Comfort, functionality, perspective, harmony of lines, volumes and colors are the rules of a holistic philosophy of design.

Each project is unique, the signature of the firm is always recognizable, even if the personality of the client always guides each achievement. An element of interior decoration is often used as a major asset to give tempo to the unique atmosphere of the place.

Thus in the three restaurants designed in Beirut, the Lily’s, the Cocteau and the Society Wine Lounge, the ceiling becomes the architectural protagonist. Cascade lamps, geometric spots, light-down descent libraries, waves and blown glass clouds help to set the tone and dress up the space of play of shadow and light, creating a warm staging in perfect privacy.

These artsy and refined spaces offer unforgettable frames for gentle moments in the heart

of swinging Beirut...
