The Galerie de l’Instant presents a rare and beautiful exhibition of the American photographer, Milton H.Greene from December 12, 2018 to February 27, 2019.

Mainly known for his unique relationship and work with Marilyn Monroe in the 1950s, Milton H. Greene immortalized the timeless beauty of the eternal feminine through his extraordinary images.

He liked to capture in his unforgettable portraits the thrilling emotion of the heart of his iconic models. The lens of his camera was able to caress the perfect legs of Marlene Dietrich, to dive into the look of the lost child of Marilyn, to slip into the intimacy of Callas in silent dialogue with her mirror...

All his mythical women and more from Audrey Hepburn to Romy Schneider or Sophia Loren unveiled to Milton H.Greene the souls of the stars in astonishing truth and great simplicity.

Far from Haute Couture dresses and theatrical staging, Milton H. Greene captures the very essence of their glamor without any make-up or sophisticated scenography.

The grace that transpires in his portraits is the fruit of a divine alchemy blending

for eternity beauty and sincerity ...

a pure diamond of the instant.
